Spent the day at the Eagle Ford Well & Frac Design conference at the JW Marriott Galleria. A big Thank You to Holly for arraigning my press pass and it was well worth my time. The Key Note on Completions by Crimson Energy was spot on, and the Q & A was an engineering managers dream. The Frac Fluid Design was very educational and now I understand even better about utilizing data to figure out fluid types (Thanks to Talisman Energy).
Any E&P company looking to drive revenue from the North America Fracking plays would have benefited from “The Latest Emerging Frac Fluid Innovations” and I was surprised by the lack of attendance by the NOC’s. Many of which are struggling with the technologies needed to improve production. But Plains Exploration and Production laid it out crystal clear.
Lunch was healthy and delicious, and I enjoyed the chance to network with my peers. Mengxi was a refreshing lunch companion, and quite the professional. A big hats off to American Business Conferences for doing such a bang up job.
I’ll be at next years event for sure!
