Mark: Hey, folks let’s learn something new about the oil and gas industry.

All right. We’re still at NAPE. We had a record turnout crowd, a lot of energy. We think we have happy hour about an hour-and-a-half which could be more fun. And we’re sitting at TotaLand Technology’s booth, we’re sitting here with Alan and Michele.

Hey, Alan.

Alan: Hey, how are you doing today?

Mark: Very good. Michele?

Michele: Hey, how’s it going?

Mark: I’m doing awesome. Now, TotaLand does something really fascinating and what it does is they actually prove efficiencies. Now, Alan let’s talk about that a little bit. How does TotaLand improve efficiencies?

Alan: Well, you know when you think about efficiency which is absolutely the key word that you hear as you talk to people now at the downturn of oil. The efficiencies really start at the very beginning which is a database and so, what we’ve done at TotaLand is we went actually created a database that has a very efficient structure underneath it. So, every great product really has behind it a great database.

And so, we’re not track-based, we’re not lease-based. And so, we have a design that allows you to be able to connect sources of information without having to repeat it. And so, when it comes to the land work and land acquisition side of the business, we have the ability to do it in an extremely efficient way and not have to redundantly answer information over and over again like parties associated with one thing. Well, in other systems you might have to do it multiple times, but in ours we have the ability to be able to do it one time and then connect that in different ways to different areas of the software so you don’t have to repeat it. So that’s one way.

Mark: Yeah. And so, right now it’s low crude price, that has to be vital for companies’ profitability or maybe even survival?

Alan: Well, survival, I think is a keyword, right? So, efficiency is something that’s so important. And so, in the process of the land work is we really focus on land men, brokerages, E&Ps. We really are trying to build a software and continue to evolve it to be able to be the most efficient possible solution that we can have for our customers.

So, as you look at our software, we really try to tune and tweak it around those efficiencies so the land men working with it don’t have to spend a lot of energy in it, they can focus on being at the courthouse, being on the field talking with people, trying to get the leases. And, really our software just accumulates all the information in a very efficient way so that they don’t have to spend a lot of time back at the office.

Mark: That is awesome.

Michele: Easy views. That’s – keyword is easy views and saving them time and money, so that’s very, very important in this downturn. But, we also want to lift up our land men, we love our land men and they’re important to us and so, we’re here to encourage them and we believe there is a turnaround coming and so, we’ve excited about that.

Mark: Yeah. And I agree with you. We go on record, $60 a barrel by August of this year.

So, Michele if people want to learn more about TotaLand, where should they go?

Michele: TotaLand.com. Give us a call and we’re ready to help you out anytime.

Mark: Yeah. And we’ll put links in the show notes, folks. You don’t have to click anywhere.

You two both, thank you so much for spending some time with me.

Michele: Thank you. It’s an honor to be here with you, Mark. We appreciate it so much.

Mark: Yeah. I think she needs to get out more.

All right. Folks, I hope this helped. We will see you next time.
